Mandarin Pools and the Challenge of Mature Oak Coverage

Mandarin is heavily wooded — the mature oaks and pines that make the neighborhood beautiful are hard on pools. Leaf load, pollen in late winter and spring, and tannin staining from organic debris require more filter attention and chemistry adjustment than an open suburban pool. We account for that. More frequent filter checks during heavy pollen periods, chemistry adjusted for the tannin load that tree cover brings, and an eye on the deck and baskets that only someone who visits every week can keep. Mandarin, Julington Creek, Loretto, and Beauclerc — we know the pools here.
